9th Annual Mothman Festival

You've seen them on TV shows such as History Channel's MonsterQuest, A&E's Paranormal State, the Sci-Fi Investigates series and the Travel Channel's Creepy Cryptids...you've read about their up close and personal encounters with Mothman....now meet them and ask them questions face to face.

*MOTHMAN WITNESSES scheduled to attend from 1pm till 3pm on Saturday September 18th are:

Linda Scarberry (one of the first to encounter the Mothman in 1966)

Tom Ury (first official daytime sighting 1966)

Faye Dewitt (saw the Mothman running beside of car 1966)

more eyewitnesses to be announced soon

MOTHMAN PANCAKES

returning for a 4th year will be the Mothman Pancake booth....all proceeds
from Mothman Pancakes benefit the Fisher House, providing military families
a "home away from home" while their loved ones recuperate at Veterans
Hospitals."

MOTHMAN 5K RUN

take part in the first ever MOTHMAN 5K run through the streets of dowtown Point Pleasant on Saturday morning Sept. 18th. For details and official entry form info email organizer Hope Roush at mothman5k@yahoo.com

*Vendors and merchandise booths will be locatedl throughout the festival area. Books, T Shirts, and all sorts of Mothman/UFO/etc items can be found.

"EYES OF THE MOTHMAN" premier at the historical State Theater

7PM SATURDAY (ADMISSION IS FREE BUT DONATIONS ARE ACCEPTED)

GHOSTBUSTERS....those 3 wacky ghosthunters from GHOSTBUSTERS (du du dududu du du)will be making their regular appearance at the Mothman Festival, posing for pictures and snuffing out any paranormal activity in and around Point Pleasant and vicinity.

2PM SATURDAY "LADIES IN LINE"-line dancing on main street in front of post office

see the SCOOBY DOO MYSTERY MACHINE van...

TURTLEMAN will be making his return appearance at this years Mothman Festival. See TURTLEMAN display and handle 40 lb snappers at his festival booth.
